This memoir, already a massive bestseller in Nepal, tells Binod Chaudhary's inspiring success story in his own words.

Chaudhary was born in Nepal to a Marwari family. His father and grandfather had been businessmen and are inspirations to him.

In 2013, Binod Kumar Chaudhary was recognized as Nepal’s first billionaire and wealthiest Nepali by Forbes. This self made man initially planned on traveling to India to pursue further studies but instead began taking over his family’s business at the age of 18. His father had been diagnosed with a heart disease rendering him, as the eldest son, to step up. Today, he is altogether a businessman, philanthropist, politician, writer and filmmaker. His company Cinnovation is also the first and only to be operating at such global heights. He is the chairman and president of the Chaudhary Group, which is also the producer of Nepal’s hit noodle brand, Wai Wai. He owns about 80 companies running in about 20 different countries spanning across several different vertical industries. He owns a controlling stake in the Nabil Bank, a commercial bank in Nepal. His career in politics has beginnings going back to 1979 when he supported a political campaign. In 2008, he became a member of the Constituent Assembly. He had represented the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist Leninist in parliament. In 2017, he joined the Nepali Congress Party.

In 1995 he began the Chaudhary Foundation which is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Nepal. Chaudhary utilized the Chaudhary Foundation exceptionally in organizing, providing and executing relief efforts after the massive 7.8 Richter scale earthquake that occurred in 2015 and continued to help rebuild Nepal.

He published his autobiography in 2013 which was then translated in English in 2015 and published as well titled, Making It Big.

Though there have been controversies surrounding many of his business decisions, there have also been a lot of praise. He’s received many awards and honors including Asian Man of the Year award in 2016. He received an honorary doctorate degree from

    Early life

Binod Kumar Chaudhary was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, to a Marwari family. His grandfather, Bhuramal Das Chaudhary, was an entrepreneur who started a textile business. His father was also a businessman who further developed his grandfather's business. Early in his career, Chaudhary chose to pursue further education rather than join the family business.

Chaudhary credits his grandfather and father as inspirations. He is a fan of Bollywood icons Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor. Early career

His grandfather, Bhuramal Das Chaudhary, migrated to Nepal from Rajasthan, India, in the 19th century. After his arrival at age 20, he started a textile business. A few years later, after the 1934 Nepal–Bihar earthquake, he became the first in Nepal to start a formally registered clothing company. His father, Lunkaran Das Chaudhary, continued to develop the textile business, and also established international-trading houses, and a construction company. Binod Chaudhary is the first and only Nepalese Billionaire as listed by Forbes. He is the chairman of the "Chaudhary Group." I have a feeling of pride in saying that for there has NEVER been a billionaire from Nepal until now.

I don't know Binod Chaudhary personally; and he as well doesn't know about me. He's an extremely busy man. After studying his interviews, books, and literature, this article is based on not only those sources, but my personal analysis.

Forbes Media office is located in Manhattan, they sponsored a "Book Signature Program." I was not only able to obtain an autograph, but take a photo with him. Due to time constraints, I wasn't able to speak with him afterwards.

He recently launched his autobiography "Make it Big." I've read it and found it a truly inspiring book for the new generation. As a Nepali, I am very proud and inspired by his success.
Chaudhary works for social welfare and often contributes in the areas of art, music movie and literature. His grandfather was a textile trader and owned a small textile store. His father transformed the store to Arun Emporium, which was considered to be Nepal's first department store.

I recommend Mr. Chaudhary's book for those looking to expand and improve their knowledge. His information is approached from a plethora of angles and he uses his mistakes as a learning tool. He his a charismatic man with a vision.

The following are my top most important criteria and what I believe to be the key factors of the success of Binod Kumar Chaudhary.

    1. HONESTY

You must be dedicated to your work. Without hard work and dedication, unlimited success is not possible. Being honest means a strong passion for the work and simp
