Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois (born December 6, 1988), professionally known as Les Twins, are French dancers, choreographers, producers, models, designers, and creative directors of their brand "Eleven Paris". Often referred to by their respective nicknames, "Lil Beast" and "Ca Blaze", they are recognized internationally for their talents in new style hip-hop dancing, and various dancing styles. They are identical twin brothers.

Born and raised in Sarcelles, France, the self-taught dance duo became the darlings of the French audience in 2008 as finalists on the popular television show Incroyable Talent. They quickly rose to prominence in the United States after a video of their performance on the San Diego leg of the 2010 World of Dance tour went viral on YouTube, with over 46 million views as of 1 December 2019. In 2011, they won the hip-hop new style division of the prestigious international street dance competition Juste Debout. In 2017, they won the American reality competition series World of Dance, executively produced by Jennifer Lopez. The series featured solo acts and larger groups, competing for a grand prize of US $1 million.

Les Twins have been featured dancers for various music artists, including Beyoncé, Meghan Trainor, and Missy Elliott. Martin and Facundo Lombard (born July 7, 1977), professionally known as the Lombard Twins, are Argentinian dancers, choreographers, actors, directors, composers and producers widely known for their role in the Step Up series. As identical twin brothers, they developed a dance form that focuses on individual emotion and expression, which they call "Free Expression."

Early life and career

The twins were born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the neighborhood of Mataderos, raised by a single mother. They began dancing together at age seven, inspired by Michael Jackson, subsequently dropping out of school at thirteen; and that same year debuting on the Argentinian television show, Ritmo de la Noche (Rhythm of the Night).

In 1993, at fifteen they began acting, struggling to build an acting career as twins, while only recognized for their dancing. After their unsuccessful acting careers, they created their own dance choreographies and began playing drums and piano, expanding into other visual art forms — including writing short films at age nineteen.

At twenty when they met James Brown and he invited them on stage to perform with him at a small concert in Buenos Aires, Brown called them the 'Soul Boys.' On Brown's recommendation they moved to New York a year later. They continued working with Brown for almost a decade.

Born and raised in Sarcelles, France, the brothers are of Guadelupian decent. These dancing phenoms specialize in New Style Hip-Hop which is far more advanced than Old School Hip-Hop dancing. Les Twins are also a part of a larger crew known as Criminalz Crew. The brothers have been dancing since the age of two and haven’t stopped since. Although Laurent found his calling in the world of dance before Larry, they both have an extreme passion for the art. Both Larry and Laurent love their fans and appreciate all of the support that they have received from everyone around the world. It is apparent in how they treat their fans that these two find that maintaining great relationships with the fans far outweighs just sending videos or posting pictures online. You can attribute that characteristic to them coming from such a large family with 18 brothers and sisters, 9 of which also dance. That would explain why they love to dance and just have fun with one another. It is those close relationships that Les Twins hold dearly that keep them grounded and humble to this very day.
