    Ajaz Khan is an Indian actor. He has starred in movies such as Rakta Charitra and Allah Ke Banday and acted in several television daily soaps including Rahe Tera Aashirwaad and Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki. In 2013, Khan participated in Bigg Boss 7. He also appeared on the TV show Comedy Nights with Kapil which lead to controversy.

    His other films include Lakeer ka Fakeer and the Indian films Dookudu and Naayak. He has appeared in an Academy Awards promotion commercial.

    Khan was in a music video 'Pal Pal' along with Saher Afsha released by Tseries on 26 September 2020.

    Career

    2003–2009: Acting debut in television

    Khan started his career with acting in the film Patth which released in 2003. Later he made his television career debut with Ekta Kapoor's Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa in 2007. Later in 2008, Khan participated in the reality show Bollywood Club where he emerged as the winner. Later he appeared in shows like Rahe Tera Aashirwaad as Tej, Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki as Dushasan, Karam Apnaa Apnaa as Arjun.

    2009–2012: Entry in Bollywood

    In 2009, Khan appeared in the film Ek... The Power of One. In 2010, appeared in Shyam Ramsay's Bachao - Inside Bhoot Hai.... He then appeared in Rahul Dholakia's Lamhaa playing the role of Kuka Pare which released in July 2010. This followed appearing in Faruk Kabir's Allah Ke Banday playing the role of Nana Chauhan, however the film did not do well in the box office and was declared a disaster. He later appeared in films like Rakta Charitra 2 and Tequila Nights.

    Aijaz Ahmad Khan popularly known as Sher-e-Gool Gulabgarh is an Indian politician and was a member of the 10th, 11th and 12th Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly from Gool Arnas constituency. He served as Minister of various portfolios from 2002 to 2014 in Jammu and Kashmir Govt under the Chief Ministership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Omar Abdullah. He also served as Deputy Leader of Congress Legislative Party from 2014 to 2018 He left Congress and became founding member of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) formed on 8 March 2020.He was also the Vice President of PAC ( Political Affairs Committee ) and member CWC of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party . Prior to Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Khan left Apni Party and decided to contest elections as Independent from Gulabgarh constituency.

    Ajaz Ahmad Khan was born on 21 November 1968 in Thuroo, Dharmari to a renowned Gujjar leader Haji Buland Khan from Jammu & Kashmir who held various posts in the state government. Ajaz did his early schooling from Govt. High School, Thuroo located at Reasi. He did his B.A. from Jammu University Jammu. In 1996, he completed his LLB from Jammu University. He married Farhat Un Nisa Khan in 2003. His younger brother Haji Mumtaz Ahmad Khan was also a member of 12th Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly from Gulabgarh constituency. His one sister is married to Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali.

    Ajaz joined politics in 1996 soon after completing LLB. In 1996, he contested elections on the ticket of NC from Gulabgarh assembly and got defeated by as margin of 956 votes only. Then he got appointed as District President of NC from Reasi District i.e Udhampur II. In 2002, he again contested as an independent candidate from two assembly segments; Gool Arnas and Gulabgarh and he got victory from Gool Arnas. And thus in 2002, he joined India
