Nisha SinghNisha Singh, spotted looking pretty as ever at WIFW, on style, fashion, and the Fashion Week.
With all the glitz and glamour of the Fashion Week you’d think that the guests would also dress up for the occasion. But we spotted actor Nisha Singh minus all the bling and looking fresh and pretty in a simple cotton shirt teamed up with capris and a pair of slippers.
A new style statement? Says the lady, “I prefer a little more casual wear that makes me feel comfortable. And I love saris, so you’ll find me wearing saris every time you meet me for a party.”
Caught in a conversation after the ‘Four in one show’ by designer duo Paras and Shalini of Geisha Designs and Falguni and Shane Peacock, Nisha was all praise for the designers. “It would be unfair to say who was better as everyone has their personal preferences” she said.
She elaborated, “I like simple clothing and not too many things happening at the same time as was the case for Geisha designs but I must say Falguni and Shane’s collection was truly feminine and glamorous.”

Pointing towards her orange slippers she quipped, “I bought this pair for Rs. 350 from the Greater Kailash market, so I can wear anything from designer wear to something picked off the street provided it suits me. If my beautiful outfit overdoes my personality, then it’s of no use. I don’t feel happy if someone gives me a compliment for I am wearing; rather it should be for how I am looking in that outfit.”
Well, lady sure seems to have her fundas clear - ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’. Right Nisha!
So what does the lady have to say about Indian fashion? “Some of the designers have made their signature styles and the moment you see their outfits on the ramp, you can tell who the designer is, so that is the pace with
