Main Khudiram Bose Hun (transl. I'm khudiram bose) is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language biographical film about Indian revolutionary leader Khudiram Bose from West Bengal. Young theatre artiste, Kanishk Kumar Jain to play Bengal teenage rebel, Khudiram Bose.
Synopsis
Main Khudiram Bose Hoon is a film about Mednipur born Khudiram Bose who was hanged at the age of 18. Khudiram, a teenage student became a martyr by walking on the path of revolution. This freedom fighter would plant bombs near police stations and attack government officials. Eventually, he was arrested on the charges of conducting a series of bomb attacks. The specific bombing for which he was sentenced to death resulted in the deaths of 3 persons.

Shahid Khudiram Bose was the youngest revolutionary freedom fighter who opposed British Raj in India. He was involved in the Muzaffarpur conspiracy and was executed on August 11, 1908, at the age of 18 years. His fellow, Prafulla Chaki, another freedom fighter, committed suicide before his arrest. Khudiram Bose: Birth, Early Life, Family and Education
Shahid Khudiram Bose was born on December 3, 1889, in Mohobani, Bengal to Trailokyanath Bose and Lakshmipriya Devi. His father was a Tehsildar in the Nerajol.
Khudiram was the fourth child of his parents. Before his birth, two sons were born to his parents, but both of them died prematurely. At that time, a custom was prevalent in his culture where a newborn was symbolically sold to his eldest sister in exchange of three handfuls of grains. This custom was known as Khud and prevented the newborn from dying prematurely. The name Khudiram is after the cultural custom 'Khud'.
At the age of 6, Khudiram lost his mother and at the age of seven, his father died. His elder sister, Aparupa Roy brought him up along with her husband Amritlal Roy. He attended Hamilton High School in Tamluk.
Khudiram Bose: Revolutionary Activities
In the year 1902 and 1903, Sri Aurobindo and Sister Nivedita gave a series of public lectures and held various private sessions with the existing revolutionary groups for India's freedom. At that time, Khudiram was an active participant in the discussions. Later on, he joined Anushilan Samiti and became a volunteer at the age of 15. He was arrested for distributing pamphlets against the British Raj in India.
In 1907, Barindra Kumar Ghosh arranged for his associate Hemchandra Kanungo to learn bomb-making t Indian revolutionary, freedom fighter and martyr (1889–1908) Khudiram Bose (also spelled Khudiram Basu) (3 December 1889 – 11 August 1908) was an Indian nationalist from Bengal Presidency who opposed British rule in India. For his role in the Muzaffarpur Conspiracy Case, along with Prafulla Chaki, he was sentenced to death, for the attempted assassination of a British judge, Magistrate Douglas Kingsford, by throwing bombs at the carriage they believed he was in. Magistrate Kingsford, however, was seated in a different carriage, and the throwing of bombs resulted in the deaths of two British women. Prafulla shot himself fatally before his arrest. Khudiram was arrested and put on trial for the murder of the two women, ultimately being sentenced to death. He was one of the first Indian revolutionaries in Bengal to be executed by the British. At the time of his hanging, Khudiram was 18 years, 8 months, and 8 days, 10 hours old making him the second youngest revolutionary in India. Mahatma Gandhi, however, denounced the violence, lamenting the deaths of the two innocent women. He stated "that the Indian people will not win their freedom through these methods."Bal Gangadhar Tilak, in his newspaper Kesari, defended the two young men and called for immediate swaraj. This was followed by the immediate arrest of Tilak by the British colonial government on charges of sedition.
