Rosa Josefa "Joey" del Pilar Mead-King (born September 12) is a television personality, fashion lifestyle host, runway coach & is the model mentor /co-judge on popular reality show, Asia's Next Top Model.

Mead was born in the Philippines from a Filipina mother, Josephine del Pilar Mead, and a biological father of Iranian descent. When she was 6, she and her mother settled Adelaide, Australia, with her Australian stepfather Leslie Bertram Mead. She was raised in Australia until she was 15. Already picking up Australian & American accent tones from living in Australia & Asia, Joey has adapted her talent of imitating accents in work, making her a popular live & voice talent. Able to switch from Filipino to British accents.

Currently based in the Philippines, Mead can speak basic Tagalog and understands pure Tagalog.

Early life

Mead was born in the Philippines. Her mother, Josephine del Pilar-Mead, is a Filipina. Her biological father is of Iranian descent. Career

She started her modelling career at 17, while living in Manila, then in Bangkok and Hong Kong. She picked up Australian and American accent tones from living in Australia and Asia, Joey has adapted her talent of imitating accents in work, making her a popular live & voice talent. Able to switch from Filipino, Australian, South African, American to British accents.

Currently based in the Philippines, Mead can speak basic Tagalog and understands Tagalog.

She was a video jockey for Channel [V] International in Hong Kong from 1996 to 2000. She appeared on over 30 Philippine magazine covers. Joey Lynn King (born July 30, 1999) is an American actress. She starred as Ramona Quimby in the comedy film Ramona and Beezus (2010) and gained wider recognition for her lead role as a late-blooming teenager in The Kissing Booth film series (2018–2021). King received critical acclaim for playing Gypsy-Rose Blanchard in the crime drama series The Act (2019), for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.

Early life

King was born in Los Angeles to Terry and Jamie King on July 30, 1999. She has two older sisters, one of whom is actress Hunter King. Her mother is of Jewish descent. King has said, "I'm Jewish, but I'm not really, really religious."

As a child, she sang a cappella for a talent show at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center and performed with the Stage Door Children's Theatre in Agoura. King attended Phoenix Ranch School in Simi Valley. King began acting professionally at the age of four in a commercial for Life Cereal.^[6&
