With an impressive educational background and a distinguished career spanning various industries, he has established himself as a visionary leader and mentor. His founding of Elizade Nigeria Ltd, Elizade University, and Smokin Golf Course and Resorts has brought global recognition and pride to our Federal Constituency.

The Founder of Elizade University, Chief Michael Ade. Ojo has commiserated with the government and people of Ondo State and particularly the immediate family of the late Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, whose unfortunate death occurred on 27th December, 2023.

Chief Ade. Ojo described the death of the erstwhile Governor as a big loss not only to Ondo State and South West Nigeria but to the entire nation. He said he was a fearless and courageous leader who always stood to defend a just cause even at the face of threat to his own personal ambition.

In a condolence message, he described the late Governor as a dogged fighter who would never be cowed by the dictates of political leanings or patronage, pointing out that he was a believer in the doctrine of fairness and equity.

Chief Ade. Ojo said history will not forget the late Governor in a hurry for serving as a rallying force and providing the leadership for South West, Nigeria when the region was almost becoming a sheep without shepherd in the face of hostilities. He also noted his achievements in infrastructural and socio-economic development of Ondo State.

The Founder of Elizade University also congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his assumption of office, praying that God will grant him the divine wisdom and knowledge needed to pilot the affairs of the State.

He noted that the year 2024 will indeed be busily astir in Ondo State, given the political bustle and high level politicking that will naturally rent the air being an electioneering year as well as the need to cater for the yearnings and aspirations of the people in general and the toiling masses in particular.

He implored Governor Aiyedatiwa to bring in his combination of wealth of experience, both in the private and public sectors to navigate the terrain, to

President Muhammadu Buhari joins the business community, family and friends of the Chairman of Elizade Motors, Chief Michael Ade-Ojo, as he celebrates his 80 birthday on June 14, 2018.

In a letter to the highly resourceful entrepreneur, President Buhari said Chief Ade-Ojo’s interest in investing in people over many years has extended his influence beyond the business environment to the larger society, especially with the founding of a university.

The President said:

“On behalf of my family, the Federal Executive Council and all Nigerians, I write to heartily congratulate you on this landmark occasion of celebrating your 80 birthday.

“We are particularly delighted to share this auspicious moment with you and your family knowing that almost all the preceding years of diligence and sacrifice were spent in service of God, our country and humanity. Indeed, your visionary and entrepreneurial lifestyle has influenced our lives in immeasurable ways.

“As a nation, we remain grateful for your contributions to Nigeria’s economic and social growth, especially the investments in people. Your remarkable interest in inspiring and supporting young people has been reflected in scholarships, grants and the eventual establishment of a university.

“Evidently it has been a worthwhile journey, and as you celebrate this milestone of turning an octogenarian, be assured that we are eagerly waiting to be regaled with the memoirs of your long walk to success with the Elizade brand, and the lessons on entrepreneurship that will permeate generations.’’

President Buhari prayed that the Almighty God will grant Chief Ade-Ojo longer life, good health and strength to continue serving.
