Imad mughniyah death in paradise
Although there is no classic summer slump to be filled for a medium like MENA Research Center – the German and British tabloid newspapers are particularly famous for this type of reporting – we take the opportunity and would like our readers, who are probably on vacation, to have some different reading.
So today is not supposed to be about politics, religion, migration or extremism in the narrower sense, but the main aspects we are dealing with will still play a role. It’s about a new TV show that just started very successfully on Paramount+. We are talking about “Ghosts of Beirut” and the author of the article only heard about the title of the series and without knowing the content I was hooked. But I wasn’t expecting the story!
“This is a fictional account of precisely researched facts and events.” Not only does the first episode of the mini-series begin with this sentence, but it is set at the beginning of each of the six parts. It tells the story of the rise and fall of Imad Mughniyeh, co-founder of the Islamist and Iran-controlled terrorist movement Hezbollah. The protagonist is responsible for dozens of terrorist attacks that killed hundreds, if not thousands, and was one of the world’s most wanted terrorists for more than two decades. In February 2008 he was killed in an attack planned by the CIA and the Israeli Mossad.
The series first unrolls the story chronologically from the back: Hezbollah terrorists, disguised as US soldiers, stormed the headquarters of the US troops in Basra, Iraq, on January 20, 2007 and kidnapped four Americans, whom they later murdered in the desert. The CIA agent Lena Asayran, the second protagonist of the TV series, is certain that Imad Mughniyeh, aka Radwan, aka “Father of Smoke”, aka “The Ghost” or the “Machiavellian mastermind” of Hezbollah must be behind the attacks. Mughniyeh’s many pseudonyms are also shown to the viewer in the intro of We’re sorry, this site is currently experiencing technical difficulties. February 12th marks the martyrdom anniversary of a devoted Hezbullah commander, Hajj Imad Mughniyah. On the day of his martyrdom in 2008, Ayatollah Khamenei penned a message to Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Seceratry General of Hezbullah. For this particular occasion khamenei.ir reviews the message issued by Ayatollah Khamenei the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah the spiritual leader of Hezbollah. The following is the full text of the mesage: In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Dear brother Hojjat ul-Islam Sayyid Hassan Nasrullah, The martyrdom of our mujahid, devoted and selfless brother Hajj Imad Mughniyah - who was full of enthusiasm to strive in the way of Allah - was a great victory and a prosperous end for him. It is also a source of honor for the Lebanese nation - a nation that has given birth to such a great man and offered him to the fight for freedom and resistance against oppression. Although the loss of this free, prominent and selfless man is very painful for all honorable people and all those who knew him, especially for his parents, wife, dear children, relatives and friends, the life and death of people like him are an epic that awaken nations, set an example to the youth, create bright prospects and pave the way for achieving these prospects. I hereby express my condolences and congratulations over this great martyrdom to you BEIRUT, Lebanon -- It was clear something big was about to break in the war on terror. In the weeks before "the world's most wanted terrorist," Hezbollah's Imad Mughniyeh, was assassinated, half a dozen telecommunications cables had been severed to countries throughout the Middle East. Or "sabotaged" as the U.N. suggested. Similar types of communications interception often precede the launch of surprise military operations as a way to stop information leaks. Telecommunications to all countries in the region had been affected except America's main allies, Israel and Iraq. For a short period, Hezbollah's main sponsor, Iran, was completely blacked out. Then a few days before Mughniyeh's killing, America sent anti-missile warships to the Israeli port of Haifa. Soon Patriot missiles that could knock out Hezbollah's incoming Katushya rockets were being deployed across northern Galilee. If Hezbollah retaliated for Mugniyah's death, the U.S. and Israel were ready. In Lebanon, America's primary spokesman, Walid Jumblatt, had escalated the war threats against Hezbollah: "If you think we are going to sit with our hands tied, then perhaps we have to burn everything. If you want chaos -- then we welcome chaos. If you want war -- then we welcome war. We have no problem with weapons or with rockets which we will launch on you!" According to former Mossad officer Victor Ostrovsky, Jumblatt had been employed by the Mossad going back to the Lebanese civil war, and so his words held weight. In past months, Jumblatt had often condemned Mugniyah, and had even gone so far as to call for car bombings in Damascus. On the night Israel and America car-bombed Imad Mugniyah in Damascus, the Hezbollah-dominated neighborhood Mugniyah grew up in was hit by an earthquake, and the shock waves shook deep into Israel. Rumors swirled that the demise of Mugniyah, like Saddam Hussein's Iraq, commemora

The criminal and bloodthirsty Zionists must know that the holy blood of martyrs like Imad Mughniyah create hundreds of other Mughniyahs, and this doubles the power of resistance against oppression, corruption and insurgency. Men like this honorable martyr gave up their peace and material possessions to defend the oppressed and fight against oppression and arrogance. And this is a highly valuable thing which makes the human conscience bow as a mark of respect. May Allah bestow Paradise on him and on all mujahidin who strive for the sake of righteousness.Inside Hezbollah Leader Imad Mughniyeh's Funeral
